Every year tons of people die, but there were tons of people this year who are going to make really, really scary zombies. I know we have already posted the zombie celebrity cards... but... of Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Billy Mays, Brittany Murphy, and Patrick Swayze, who will be the scariest zombie?
Michael Jackson will look the scariest, Billy Mays will be the loudest zombie, and Patrick Swayze will be the zombie who dances the most...
As if I would want it to, zombie mania shows no sign of stopping. As we have discussed before, more and more classic stories are being retold as if zombies had entered the picture. Two more of my favorite stories have recently gotten the zombie rewrite. Welcome
Robin Hood and Friar Tuck: Zombie Killers and
Undead Wizard of Oz.

Zombie prom... October 16... Matthew's on Morris in Birmingham, AL. Do it!
Let me know if there is a zombie event in your area and we will post it here!
Here is a zombie Christmas story we wrote for you!
Santa leaves for a typical Christmas eve to deliver toys to the good little girls and boys of the world. He gets to the first rooftop and hears a noise. He first dismisses it as the reindeer, then realizes the noise is getting closer and closer. A bloody hand pops over the side of the roof...
After a crazy rooftop battle, the elves and reindeer have all been killed leaving just Santa. Having been alive for hundreds of years, he wasn't going to give up with a fight. He went down the chimney and found himself lucky that this house belonged to a gun collector. He turned to the door, and in a deep, breathy voice said, "Let's do this." He kicked open the door and ran into the street with a yell.
It was a long hard night, and just as he was about to escape, Santa saw a child down an ally who was scared and crying. Having a soft spot for children, he went to help the child, when suddenly the boy jumped into the air and bit a chunk out of Santa.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Thanks for the pictures!
One, Two, and Three!

What's better than an internet meme? 2 internet memes on 1 shirt. Billy Tackett has created some awesome shirts, including the 8-bit "All your brains are belong to us" tee.

It is amazing how much the zombie bug has bitten authors recently. Aside from all the zombie survival guides and stories of what will happen when zombies attack, tons of books are being re-written with what would have happened if a zombie attack would have happened during the course of the story.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies might be my favorite, but they have also re-written the story of Scrooge with a zombie twist!

Zombies meeting Scrooge is not 100% new, however, because I feel the need to mention the zombie that stalked $crooge McDuck, Bombie Zombie, in the Walt Disney
Donald Duck comic book.
I am not sure how many of you have ever seen the movie
Santa.s Slay, but this a game version with zombies!
Tell me your score->
For those of you who don.t know about the movie I am referring to.

Variety.com reported today that Natalie Portman will star in and produce the movie we've been long awaiting (well, not long awaiting, considering the book just come out in April)--
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies! According to IMDB, the movie is set to be released in 2011, although there's not much more information than that. We'll keep you updated as we find out more!

Before you Bush haters chime in, no this comic is not about the presidency of George Bush, it's about the Post-Z-Day presidency of Barack Obama. I've only seen previews of the series so far, but it appears to be a cheesy look at how Washington would handle Z-Day when it inevitably occurs.
You can
read more here or you can order the comic on-line by
clicking the cover image.

What happens when you cross zombies with history's greatest detective (no not Adrian Monk, Sherlock)? You get Wildstorm's
Victorian Undead: Sherlock Holmes vs. Zombies.
Victorian Undead is almost like someone took a Sherlock Holmes story and added zombies to it (think
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
).
The bad news about this title? It appears to only be a 6 issue series, which means we won't see anything long term (or maybe hopefully we'll see some similar titles).
I definitely recommend picking up this title, and while you're at it you can pre-order the next 3 issues below.
This might just be the best picture ever, and the people in it are awesome. I don't know what else to say other than that I am going to re-imagine every Disney movie as a zombie movie, now.
Click here to see a close-up... It is worth it->
Thanks for the pic, Dion!
It's important that friends and co-workers are prepared when someone is inevitably bitten by a zombie. In order to protect others (and most importantly, yourself), proper training and procedures are necessary for dealing with a zombie infestation. As a public service, we are distributing digital copies the work safety poster "IN THE EVENT OF A ZOMBIE ATTACK". This poster should be presented to the HR department at your workplace and your landlord to be posted in common areas such as break rooms, mail rooms, etc.
Please make sure to download and distribute this immediately, as the threat of zombies is always...threatening.
