For those of you Resident Evil fans, there are a couple new trailers over on IMDB. From what I've seen it promises to deliver the same action that has made the series so popular, and on top of that, Afterlife is going to follow the current trend of putting everything in 3-D. We can only hope that they make good use of 3-D, unlike some other movies that have come out recently that were definitely not worth the extra $5 for a pair of crappy glasses.
You can view the trailers here and here.
Zombieland gave us some rules for zombie survival, the first one being doing cardio so you can outrun zombies. Why stop there? People in Chicago have been thinking about that and have started classes for people who want to be in perfect shape for zombie survival! They call themselves ZombieFit with a tag-line, "Fitness to survive the Apocalypse" with detailed fitness journals dating back to September of 2009. They even have online tutorials of how to do survival enhancing workouts, including jumping pull-ups. If you are in the area, you should probably check it out. If not, it makes for an interesting read, and following their ideas and plans won't hurt you when time comes to run, and run fast!

We have been out of town, but promise not to leave you again for a while!
We ran across this amazing pillow recently, which can help you sleep during the zombie apocalypse while zombies think you have already been eaten...
Good times..

Mystery Science Theater 3000 is always fun, but when it is centering a zombie movie, we like it even better. They cover 1986's Zombie Nightmare, about a teen who is murdered and brought back as a zombie by voodoo to take care of his murderers. I know what you did last summer while you were a zombie... no wait...
The best part is that Adam West and Tia Carrere (Wayne's World) are badly acting their way through this movie. It also features artists like Motorhead... What else do you need? It is currently featured on Netflix, so it is very easy to acquire. Seriously, go watch it now.
In Japan, zombies don't eat you, you eat the zombies... or at least this new zombie snack. It is labeled as being zombie flesh, but it seems to be blue beef jerky, but who knows... Like frog legs taste like chicken, maybe zombie flesh just tastes like beef jerky...
There is a local Sci-Fi convention this coming weekend called Imagicon, which has gotten us to think about people dressing up.
Dress up recommendation of the day: Alice from Resident Evil.
Here is the dress Milla wore in the film, which you can purchase if you have that kind of money...
And here is what you can do instead. A little tailoring, and you can make yours asymmetrical too, adding the cut off fabric as a peekaboo layer to the long side, and a more than passable Alice. Add short shorts underneath and those amazing boots...
Here is another for purchase costume for Alice:
...and here is how you can get the same look for less. Go to your local thrift store and find a long, tan trench and wrinkle it up like crazy. Then buy some of these full body thermal underwear (small enough to where they will be tight) and break out your scissors so you can make the legs into garters and there is plenty of room for the cami to show through. Add short khaki shorts (should be really easy to find) and a few scarves for around your neck, some brown knee length boots, and an attitude... good to go.
New book Paul is Undead is not even available for order yet, but already has buzz about being made into a movie. The book is an alternate history of zombie Beatles and Mick Jagger as a zombie hunter. More news will come as we keep an ear out for the zombie fab four.
If you are looking forward to it, you can watch the video below to tide you over:
