There has been a lot of talk recently about zombie television shows, including the original version of Zombieland. Zombieland was written for TV, but was re-written into a movie, which obviously did really well. More on Dead TV-> Here are some other interesting Zombieland facts, courtesy of IMDB: -The amusement park scenes were filmed at Wild Adventures Theme Park, located in Valdosta, Ga. There was an open call for locals to play extras for most of the scenes shot at Wild Adventures. -Patrick Swayze was originally going to have a cameo in the film, but had to pull out of filming during his battle with cancer. -John Carpenter turned down the chance to direct this. So, which is more bad ass? Apparently we are about to find out! The book Zombies vs Unicorns will soon be released so we can properly weigh the pros and cons. We are obviously on team zombie... but there is a debate on Entertainment Weekly, so feel free to give them your two cents.

Sooo... you want to get a zombie tattoo. If you are thinking a zombie version of your favorite celebrity or just your favorite zombie image, we are all for it. However... think about it... if you get something like one of the tattoos below, how long do you think you will survive during the zombie apocalypse? People are already jumpy, and the only excuse they will need to shoot you in the head will be a visual cue that you are infected. Won't it be sad that the owners of these tattoos will think in their last thoughts, "Dang, why did I have to get that tattoo?"

For those of you who are looking forward to handing out another round of zombie butt-kicking, Dead Rising 2 is definitely coming out in Japan, and is expected to be released worldwide at some point in 2010. We should find out really soon a real date!

We know we already told you about the Dead Walking TV pilot, Click here if you need a refresher->, but TV is about to become a lot bloodier with not one, but TWO zombie TV shows in the works. Along with a live action rendition of the comic series Dead Walking from AMC about the survivors of the zombie apocalypse, MTV wants some zombie action. There is a lot of talk of a TV adaptation of Dawn of the Dead on MTV, so this may be a very bloody season! We will keep you informed!
