If you took Grease, Frankenstein, and a classic zombie movie and put them in a blender, you would pour out the web comic Teenage Love Zombies.  Set in the 50s, this comic follows the infatuation between a greaser and a preppy girl just before the hit of the zombie apocalypse.  It has been going on long enough to be able to get into the story, but it new enough to where you can get in toward the beginning.  If you go to the archives, you can easily click through the entire story as it is written so far, and there will be new ones every Wednesday.
