Walking Dead Editorial
We found out in last night's Walking Dead episode what the family is keeping their un-dead loved ones that have turned in the barn. They are feeding them and keeping them alive. It makes me wonder how many people would do something like that? Would you be able to shoot your significant other in the head? Would you be able to realize your once beloved Aunt Sally was no longer a joke telling baker, but now a flesh eating ghoul? Would you be able to draw your gun on a small child with curly locks if they were running after you? I would think most people who have lived through the zombie apocalypse would be able to separate themselves from the un-dead, but the more I think about it, the more I realize most people probably can not. It would admittedly be hard. Even the most bad ass, zombie hating tough guy would have a moment when having to shoot their most beloved in the head, I don't care what they say. The thing is, in the end of the day, that is what will make the difference between the survivors and the walking dead. At some point, 99% of survivors will have to pull the trigger on at least one person they knew well. For at least the first phase of the outbreak, you will be surrounded by loved ones, and some of them will die. Long story short... could you pull the trigger?
Off topic, I am curious how they got them in there... It would be hard to lead a group of zombies into a barn, and it would be hard to believe the same people who would keep them alive would lock them in a barn just after they were bitten... Anyhoo, I digress.
Infroamtion is power and now I'm a !@#$ing dictator.
